Regulations
Submissions
Submissions are free for all non-commercial videos which must be no more than 60 seconds long and short documentaries of a maximum length of 10 minutes. There is no entry fee. Films should be in German or English. You can use subtitles. All submitted films have to be labelled with a film title and the filmmaker’s name must be given.
Screening Formats
The following formats are accepted: miniDV, HDV, DV.avi, HDV.mpeg and Quicktime (all in PAL Standard). All entries must be of broadcastable quality. Blue Ray Discs cannot be accepted. Screening of 35mm Film Copies is only possible after consultation with the festival team.
Postal Service
CDs/DVDs and tapes can be sent by mail. All tapes, CDs and DVDs from non-EU member states must be sent with a customs declaration on the packaging stating the following: "For temporary, cultural purposes only. No commercial value"; CDs, DVDs and tapes will be returned only on request. Expenses for return shipment of DVDs and tapes are to be paid by the addressee.
Insurance
Please send copies or dubs only! There is no insurance cover available.
Adjudication
A panel will judge the submitted films and select One Minute and Short Documentary Films for the two-day screening in May.
Copyright
The filmmaker declares that he/she has the copyright of the work including photography and sound.
Deadline
The deadline for receiving submissions is 1.03.2012 – any submissions showing a postmark after that date will not be considered.
