Third 6010 Festival in May 2012

International One Minute and Short Documentary Films

"6010" offers a platform for all types of non-commercial movies of a maximum length of one minute and Short Documentary Films of a maximum length of ten minutes. Short documentaries need not conform with formal approaches to documentary filmmaking. Experiments are welcome. The festival takes place from May 14th to May 15th. This is the only festival of its kind to take place in Germany.

Call for Submissions/Entries

Submissions/Entries are free for everybody. A panel will judge the submitted films and select One Minute and Short Documentary Films for the two-day screening in May. Filmmakers are invited to join in with the screenings and to present their work. There is a youth hostel and a very reasonably priced hotel where people can stay.

The Cinema

"Viktoria" is an art house cinema with 444 seats and a big screen. The programme is given an annual funding award by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and the Film Foundation North Rhine-Westphalia.
